AMA Youth Run Club Online Module
This e-learning module is designed for teachers, parents, community members, and program coordinators in Alberta-based schools and after-school programs. Completing this module will provide you with an introduction to what the Alberta Medical Association Youth Run Club is, what supports it can offer you and how to get started in your school community. This module will give you hands-on tools that you can use right away. Once you complete this module and join the Alberta Medical Association Youth Run Club, you will have access to all of our online and in-person supports.
Run Clubs that complete this module will receive a pair of run club socks! To receive your socks be sure to complete the survey at the end of the module and don’t forget to register your school for the AMA Youth Run Club.

Physical Activity 101: Understanding Physical Activity for After-School Programs in Alberta
This e-learning module is designed for program directors/managers and frontline leaders in Alberta based after-school programs. Completing this module will provide you with an introduction to what physical activity is and why it is important for your after-school program. You will also have the opportunity to be introduced to the Provincial Activity Guidelines for After-School Programs in Alberta (released in 2018). Once you complete this module you will have the opportunity to access the Alberta Active After School Community of Practice where you will get access to resources, professional learning opportunities, support to implement the guidelines and use of the Alberta Active After School brand for your programs promotional purposes.
Within two weeks of completing this module you will receive a list of the embedded resources, along with a certificate of completion.
