Thanks for supporting wellness in youth!

Your gift helps childrens' health and wellness.

The AMA Youth Run Club helps to establish and support registered run clubs in Alberta. These run clubs are fun, school-based inclusive environments for children and youth that emphasize and promote physical activity.

Your donation helps to provide resources and equipment to run clubs all over Alberta, giving more kids the chance to live healthy, active lifestyles.

"Huge thanks to the AMA Youth Run Club for the coach's resources and for the shoes. My school is extremely high needs and we have had shoes donated to girls that would otherwise not have had access to appropriate shoes. The girls are so proud to run!"

"Thank you so much for supporting our school. Many of the students participating in Go!Run would not have this opportunity without you."

Principal of 2018/19 AMA Youth Run Club

"I want to thank you for your generous donation to our running club! We were able to purchase 5 pairs of shoes for students that desperately needed them. Their current shoes were either worn out or didn't fit (holes in toes!). The students are thrilled to have new shoes. Thanks so much!"

Active Healthy Kids Canada

The Active Healthy Kids Canada Charity is a small but passionate organization who believes that all students should belong to healthy school communities. To achieve this they are working to:

  • advance education by providing focused learning opportunities on the subjects of wellness education and comprehensive school health to those involved with school communities,
  • promote health by providing schools with health and wellness tools to assess wellness in their school community and use a comprehensive school health framework that addresses health and education goals and improves the life outcomes of children and youth.
